Job Title: Coordinator
Reports to: Supervisor/Manager
Job Overview: The Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to a specific department or team within an organization. The Coordinator ensures that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard, and that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the department or team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Assist with the development and implementation of departmental processes and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard
- Track and report on the progress of projects and initiatives, and ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed
- Provide support for events, including coordinating logistics, managing registrations, and liaising with vendors and partners
- Manage and maintain departmental records, databases, and other documents
- Conduct research and analysis to support departmental projects and initiatives
- Provide support for the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Maintain inventory levels of departmental supplies and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Knowledge of best practices in administrative support and project coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Physical Requirements: The Coordinator is expected to work in an office environment and will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The Coordinator may occasionally be required to lift and move equipment or supplies.
