Job Title: Director
Reports to: Executive Management
Job Overview: The Director is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight for the organization's operations, programs, and initiatives. The Director is also responsible for managing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the organization meets its goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the organization's goals and objectives
- Manage the organization's day-to-day operations, including budgeting, financial management, and staffing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, clients, vendors, and partners
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to staff, and create a positive and productive work environment
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
- Monitor and evaluate the organization's performance, and make recommendations for improvements
- Build and maintain a strong organizational culture that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and meetings, and act as a spokesperson for the organization
- Manage and oversee projects, programs, and initiatives to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard
- Ensure that the organization is continuously improving, and adapting to changes in the market, industry, and regulatory environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a track record of success in managing teams and achieving organizational goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
- Knowledge of best practices in organizational management, including budgeting, financial management, and human resources management
- Experience in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from start to finish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements: The Director is expected to work in an office environment and will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The Director may also be required to travel occasionally for business purposes.
